When I find something that gives me joy, I love to share it with other people. Here are some things I’ve been loving lately.

Stella York Bridal Collection

I said “yes” to the dress! Stella York is the brand I’ll be wearing for my big day. I love this brand because they have a variety of beautiful, well-made, and size-inclusive gowns designed to make you feel like the best version of yourself on your wedding day. The best part is, they don’t require you to break the bank—these dresses look much more expensive than the true cost. Hello, value!

The stylists at Belle Vogue Bridal listened to my vision, likes and dislikes, and made me feel comfortable. They took my budget very seriously, and I found the perfect gown without feeling like I had to settle. The dress I chose in the end wasn’t what I had imagined when I walked in the door that day—it was truly even better! If you’re looking for your wedding dress or dreaming about the big day, I recommend giving this brand some serious consideration (and visiting Belle Vogue if you’re in the KC metro area).

Stella York also has some sister brands, Essence of Australia and Martina Liana, and they have other incredibly gorgeous options at higher price points, as well.

Listening Now: Madelynne’s Mix tapes Newsletter

My gal-pal Madelynne is gifted at all-things-creative, and she’s recently started a weekly newsletter called “Listening Now: Madelynne’s Mix Tapes” dedicated to music discovery. I, for one, am ecstatic about this because finding new music that I actually enjoy has proven to be a chore within the last few years (Adulting, amirite?).

Madelynne’s newsletters are genre-themed, and she even includes links to her Spotify playlists curated to highlight the artists in her newsletter. This is exactly what my music-loving-but-busy-and-clueless self has been looking for. Within the newsletters, she also includes a lists of similar artists along with each artist featured so you get an idea of what to expect before plugging in your headphones.

Additionally, if you love both art AND music, you need to check out Madelynne’s Women Who Rock paintings. She’s totally an overachiever. My personal favorite is Stevie. Who hasn’t shed a tear while listening to “Landslide”?

Tarte Cosmetics

I have been a fan of Tarte Cosmetics for a while, starting with a lip tint a friend gave me a while back. Once I realized they focus on creating quality product with natural ingredients, I was sold. It’s very difficult to find makeup that is both healthy and high-performing. Tarte is the exception.

Recently, I got the Shape Tape Hydrating Foundation to test out. I knew that I loved their Shape Tape Contour Concealer, so it didn’t take much convincing. It’s perfect for the colder months to protect against dry skin.

Every once in a while, Tarte has this crazy sale where you can buy six full-size products for $63 + a free bag. I took advantage of this amazing deal a few weeks ago to test out new products. I bought:

I loved every single product I received. How often does that happen?! I will say, my very favorite product has been the Maneater Voluptuous Mascara. It’s the BEST mascara I’ve ever used. Give it a shot! It’s guilt-free (and cruelty free). Keep an eye out for sales and discounts for an even more guilt-free purchase.
